While interning at Resolve Philly, Mariyum was part of the Equally Informed team which focused on bridging the digital information gap with a free SMS text service available in both English and Spanish.
The Equally Informed text line has played a pivotal role in numerous significant news crises, including but not limited to alerting people about air quality during Canadian wildfires, reporting on the I-95 collapse, addressing water contamination issues, and offering support in the aftermath of tragic mass shootings in the city.
